WHAT IS SHADE?

Collaborating abstract visual art and street dance, Shade pushes innovative boundaries and leaves audiences craving more. After selling out their debut show last year, the team is back to do it all again bigger and better in 2016. 
Shade boasts an all star cast of Brisbane's up and coming, established and internationally renowned choreographers and visual artists. Breaking the mould of the usual Brisbane street dance show, Shade strives to engage the audience throughout using creative projections, fusion choreography and unique abstract art.

Under the direction of the show's creator Wanida Serce, Shade's goal is to promote local artists, inspire new artistic projects and contribute to the blossoming Brisbane arts scene.
