Largest gaming market in Latin America is Brazilian, reveals survey

Earlier this year it was revealed that Brazil will have the largest gaming market in Latin America, according to the research of Institute New Zoo, which puts the country ranked 11th in the world rankings and first in South America.


According to the research institute, it is estimated that Brazil will spend almost $ 1.4 billion in games until the end of 2014. This includes all types of games, from the simplest to smartphones and browsers, even the most complex and expensive to video games and computers.

 

The estimate is based on consumer research, data related companies to the area. According to the study, Brazil is leader in sales and turnover of U.S. $ 1,3 billion and Mexico comes next, with revenues around $ 1 billion. Argentina, Colombia and Chile round out the top five countries that generate more revenue from the games in the region.
