This Saturday 12th of July the pride of Colombia is called to be celebrated in the “Official Colombian National Day Fiesta” which will be held in Brisbane at Cloudland this Saturday from 8PM, in a really special and amazing night.
Latin beats will call out to move the heaps and feel the heat and the beat of the Colombian rhythms, with the outstanding Brisbane premier band 11 piece Chukale & Renowned band leader Gustavo Cereijo. They will share stage with the “Colombian all Stars”- Jhon Sanchez (Cali Sabor), Stefanie Serna (Chukale), Victor and Sergio Botero (Quarter St Orquesta, Winners of Clave contra Clave 2013), undoubtedly some of the best Colombian vocalists in Australia.
Together they will craft an unforgettable Colombian music celebration night, “Cachondea”, “Cali Pachangero”, “En Barranquilla me quedo”, “Cumbia de mi tierra”, and “Ana Mile” will be just some of the classic themes that you will enjoy on a night to remember.
Additional to the line-up, special debut of “Las leyendas del Vallenato band”. Furthermore, for the DJ music fans there will be DJ El Toro “Latin music with Substance”, and DJ Andres Hernandez “The Latin Crossover Mixmaster”. Also the Floor Show will be presented by Colombian Dance Group.
But Colombian style and pride are not just about music, songs, and dance, the “Official Colombian National Day Fiesta” will also serve some of the most recognised dishes into de staples diet of the country. And that's not all, aguardiente (typical Colombian alcohol shots) and “Águila” beer will be available for the Colombian community in Cloudland, to feel like they were in their country, a little bit closer to home.
Ticket prices are $20.00 pre-sale, or $25.00 to pay at the door. And if you are a student you can get you tickets for a lower price, always presenting a valid student’s ID card.
